Hi, my name is Chris. I live in Pittsburgh.
I spend most of my free time drinking coffee, speculating, fixing up my old house, and reading old books. I enjoy writing meandering essays, half-inadvertently making people laugh, and taking notice of the small things. If I were a car, I’d probably be a yellow Volvo from the 1980s. Ideally, it would be in running condition.
Chris.blog is my personal weblog.
About this site
This venerable weblog wouldn’t be possible without some fantastic open source software, like Ubuntu, nginx, MariaDB, PHP, and WordPress. My most beloved plugins include Broken Link Checker, Editorial Calendar, FD Footnotes, and Jetpack. It is hosted on a virtual server at Digital Ocean.
It runs the Notebook theme, built by yours truly.
